[ARCHIVED] Zombie 2 K-ish Wilderness Run

Zombie 2Kish Wilderness Run

Saturday, October 24th, 2020

Friends, Bay Citians, Texans come help us stop the Zombie Horde from invading Riverside Park AGAIN!

Zombies are wanted to run (on and off road) this wilderness course that starts off on the pipeline, continues the Wilderness Trail, then down the road onto the jogging trail and finishes at the Riverside Ranger Station.  Be careful – there are obstacles along the way.  At the end of the run we will host a Riverside Liberation party with light refreshments.

Event registration is now open.  Run fees are: $25 per runner (through September 27th).  Late registration and day of fees are $35 (beginning September 28th).  If you want the swag and don’t want to sweat – it is an additional $10, and we won’t tell a soul you didn’t run.  Extra swag will cost $15 per shirt, $10 per bag (limited edition Riverside Park bag) and $5 per bandana.  Swag includes t-shirt, bag, bandana, medal, race bib and photo.

Trophies will be awarded at the Riverside Liberation Party for: fastest male and female, slowest overall and best Zombie outfit.

You can register at the Armory, 1209 10th Street, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or register on-line at  Go to the Parks and Recreation page and click on register.
