[ARCHIVED] Swim Lessons

shallow of Hilliard Pool

Swim Lessons are offered at the Hilliard Pool in June, July and August.  All classes are held Tuesday – Friday for 8 days.

The benefits of learning to swim don't stop with fun and safety. Learning to swim by age 5 increases a child's self-confidence, but most parents are unaware that it can also aid in the development of mathematical skills. In addition, only a few understand it can help develop oral expression, and less than half understand that it can boost children's social skills.

Infant lessons (ages 6 months – 3 years) require a parent or guardian in the water with the child at all times.  The cost for this 8-session, 30-minute class is $35.

Youth lessons for ages 4 – 12 years old are broken down into two categories 3 – 7-year-olds and 8 – 12-year-olds.  The cost for this 8-session 45-minute class is $45.
