The polar plunge finds locals and visitors to cities worldwide willingly charging into frigid waters.
The 1st Saturday of each New Year, Bay Citians take the “polar plunge” into Hilliard Pool. This year’s event will be on Saturday, January 7th at 9 a.m.
Fee is $15 for adults and $10 for children 18 & under. Fee includes a shirt, donuts and hot cocoa as well as warmers will be at Hillard Pool to warm up.
You can register three ways:
- The Armory, 1209 10th Street, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. until January 7th.
- Register on-line at https://cityofbaycity.org. Go to the Parks and Recreation page and click on register.
