Turkey Wilderness Trot

Riverside Park

Start the Thanksgiving holidays a bit early on the right turkey leg and join us for a Turkey Trot through the Wilderness at Riverside Park (7330 FM 2668).  The Turkey Trot is a 2K and/or 5K walk/run starting at 9:30 a.m. for the 2k and 10:15 a.m. for the 5k!  This is an event the whole family can enjoy.  Make the run or walk a Family Tradition. Bring the strollers and of course friendly dogs on a leash are WELCOME! 

If you love to dress up for races, we encourage you to do so! Take pictures and share on social media and share with us at parks-rec@cityofbaycity.org

If your child is under the age of 3, you do not need to register them as a participant unless you want them to receive a shirt and medal.

Awards will be given out for the overall top three finishers in each run, for the top three of each age group in the 5K and for the BEST costume.  Those participating in both races will not be eligible for an award in the 2K and will receive only one shirt and medal.
