Fire Department
The Bay City Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1909. Currently, there are 47 active volunteers. The department is responsible for fire and rescue operations in Bay City and the surrounding area, while providing mutual aid to other volunteer fire departments.

The Human Resources Department provides a variety of information and services, including benefits administration, job postings, and hiring.

The Department of Information Technology manages the City's computer systems and technology needs.

Municipal Court
The Municipal Court handles City Code violations in addition to traffic offenses and other Class “C” misdemeanors. The Municipal Judges hold magistrate hearings every day of the week in order to inform people arrested of their rights and to set bonds. The Court Clerk and staff process and maintain all records of the Court.

Parks & Recreation
Bay City's Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing over 300 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, hosting community events, and enriching the lives of others through quality parks and programs.
