Join us at Liberty Park, nestled along Cottonwood Creek, as we celebrate Mother’s Day with a special concert showcasing the LoneStar Blue Grass Band.  The concert will start at 3 p.m.

Be sure to bring out your lawn chairs, blankets, etc, to sit on and enjoy the concert by Cottonwood Creek and the historic 1907 Gazebo/Band Stand.

LoneStar Blue Grass band has been around since 1982 and play a variety of bluegrass songs and covers of some many other songs.  You may hear Eric Clapton (Lay Down Sally), Stevie Wonder (Sir Duke), Ringo Starr (Don't Pass Me By) and Dave Brubeck (Take Five).

"We only work out the first five songs that we're going to do," Chris Hirsch (founding member) says. "After that, we wing it. I don't care where we're playing, it could be a concert for the president, we're going to wing it. It changes the show up every time."

It will be a great way to spend the afternoon, celebrate mom and enjoy music in the park.

The event is free and refreshments will be sold.
