Amistad Park- 1708 Avenue C

Amistad Park is located on 10th and Avenue C with numerous amenities such as;

  • BBQ Pits
  • Field for Practice
  • Basketball Court
  • Pavilion
  • Playground
  • Public Restroom

Bay Ridge Park- 1221 Bay Ridge Blvd

Bay Ridge Park is a "hard to find" gem located off of Bay Ridge Boulevard with a playground and a large amount of space to run around and play in.

City Field- 3212 Avenue E

City Field is a small neighborhood park located off of Whitson and Avenue E. The park is primarily used for soccer that span over the entire area of the park as well as a public restroom. 

Duncan Park- 612 Duncan Avenue

Duncan Park is located off of Duncan Avenue where it dead-ends past LeTulle Avenue. Duncan Park offers a laundry list of activities fun for the whole family such as: 

  • BBQ Pits
  • Picnic Areas
  • Basketball Court
  • Horseshoe Pits
  • Volleyball
  • Pavilion
  • Playground (covered swing set)
  • Public Restroom

Gusman Park:

Gusman Park is an esplanade that runs down the middle of Avenue G between the Train Depot and 5th Street. Gusman Park is lined with beautiful old oak trees and serves as a memorial to R.C. Gusman who served as Mayor of Bay City for 32 years. Gusman's service and dedication to Bay City is nearly unrivaled and this park preserves the memory of that service provided to the citizens of our great community. 

Hardeman Park- 600 12th Street

Hardeman Park is located at 600 12th Street and houses our Teen Center where Matagorda Young Life currently operates out of.

Liberty Park-2004 6th Street

Liberty Park is a "pocket" park situated along the bank of Cottonwood Creek. Liberty Park features a 1907 gazebo that has a long standing history behind it with a Historical Monument details the significance behind the gazebo. There are also plenty of picnic tables to sit and enjoy the beautiful Gulf Coast weather. 

Mary Withers Park- 2611 6th Street

Mary Withers Park is located off of 4th Street next to the Historic USO Building. The park features sand volleyball court, 2 tennis courts, and a picnic area. The courts are lighted and the lights will stay on until 11 PM every night.

Barkway Dog Park- 1701 Avenue H

Bay City's only off-leash large and small dog park. Water fountain for both humans and dogs!
