Riverside Park will be all dressed up in lights for the annual Christmas in the Park Celebration with over 500,000 twinkling lights, your favorite Christmas characters and maybe some new Christmas favorites.
The event will kick off with the Christmas Celebration, continue with the Wilderness Trail of Lights and end with a Movie in the Park.
The Christmas in the Park Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 5 – 9 p.m. The Celebration will include the Wilderness Trail of Lights, inflatable activities, movies, music, games (a candy cane hunt for 0 – 3 year olds), photo opportunities, a few surprises and of course – Santa! Refreshments will be sold. Parking is $10 per car.
The Wilderness Trail of Lights is from 6 – 9 p .m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, December 4th -8th. Parking is $5 per car. Be sure to bring your cameras as you wander the trail.
The Movie in the Park is on Friday, December 9th at 6 p.m. This year’s movie is “The Santa Clause 2”. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and something to keep you warm. Refreshments (including hot chocolate and S’mores) will be sold. Parking is $10 per car.
